Crusher branch powered by a DR11 gasoline engine is intended for cutting branches with a diameter of up to 50 mm into 100-120 mm pieces. The working device of the shredder is powered by a gasoline engine with a capacity of 6.5 hp.

Design features:

The main unit of the shredder is the core. The core body is made of a steel angle of 40*5 mm and plates of sheet steel with a thickness of 5 mm. A gear reducer (reduction ratio 4.875) is located in the housing, which ensures the transmission of torque from the primary shaft to the cutting device. The core mechanism has a 3-shaft system. A driven pulley is installed on the lower (primary) shaft, and 8 knives are installed on the middle and upper shafts (4 knives on each shaft). The gears of the branch shredder are made of grade 45 steel. The drive gear has 16 teeth, the two secondary gears have 78 teeth each. Gears and shafts undergo heat treatment (hardness HR= 45 - 52). Gear tooth module 2.5.

The gasoline engine is installed on the chopper through the mounting plate. The plate is attached to the chopper body on hinged hinges that provide the ability to adjust the tension of the drive belt.

The principle of action of the branch chopper:

The torque from the gasoline engine is transmitted to the driven pulley, which, through a gear, transmits rotation to the middle and upper shafts, which rotate in opposite directions. Branches are fed into the cutting device through the loading hopper and thrown out through the unloading hopper. Four legs are welded to the lower part of the body of the branch chopper, which ensures the stability of the product.
