Throughout its history, our company has been engaged in the repair of hydrostatic drive systems of CASE grain harvesters. The hydrostatic drive system transmits the torque from the engine to the mechanical transmission (gearbox) of the combine, in addition, providing stepless change in rotation frequency. Such a transmission, as a rule, consists of such main parts as a hydraulic pump, a hydraulic motor, a tank with a working fluid, a system of filters, hoses (hoses) of high and low pressure, a deceleration valve and a control mechanism. Most of the grain harvesters of many world manufacturers have similar hydrostatic transmissions. As a rule, the hydrostatic pump and the hydrostatic motor are the most prone to failure.

In addition to the operations described in the service manual and known to most mechanics and engineers, we have, in my opinion, a rather unique opportunity to check units on the stand both before and after repair. As a rule, such an approach allows you to identify not only the main problem (the reason for the repair), but also related problems that, in the near future, may develop into the failure of the entire node. Also, these procedures make it possible to carry out high-quality and complete repairs and allow talking about a guarantee for the completed repair.

In repairs of hydrostatic units, as well as their drives, we give preference to original spare parts, however, such spare parts are not always available to order. Often, the manufacturer does not provide the possibility of supplying individual spare parts, but offers to purchase the assembly as a whole.

Understanding the client's situation in our difficult time, we came to the conclusion that it is necessary to produce such spare parts, as well as particularly expensive parts of these units at domestic enterprises. We, together with the design and technological staff of the factories, carried out extensive work on research, coordination of the design and technology, as well as testing of such spare parts. As a result of these works, we can say that some samples not only closely approached, but also surpassed the original in terms of quality and durability.

In any case, when non-original parts (substitutes) are used in the repair process, the client receives information about this in the first place and, in fact, the choice is his. It is important to note that the use of proven spare parts of domestic production as substitutes for repairs dramatically reduces repair costs, and sometimes makes repairs possible if original spare parts of certain names are not supplied. In the latter case, the CNH spare parts catalog lists the abbreviation NSS (Not supplied separately) instead of the number.

In addition to the production of spare parts, one of the enterprises with which we cooperate developed and tested samples of complete products: a hydrostatic pump and a hydrostatic motor. After bench tests, they also passed field tests in 2013-2014. All aggregates have 100% adaptation to CASE combines and do not require any modifications when installing instead of standard ones.
