Ammophos
- this is a highly concentrated complex nitrogen-
phosphorus fertilizer, the total content of active substances in which reaches 64%, including 12% nitrogen and 52% phosphorus. Phosphorus in it is in a water-soluble form and is easily absorbed by plants on all soils. Ammophos has good physical, chemical and mechanical properties: it is not hygroscopic, does not stick, does not dust, has an even granulometric composition. There are practically no ballast substances in this salt, and its use reduces the costs of transportation, storage and introduction into the soil.
Ammophos is used as a fertilizer for the following crops: wheat, rye, barley, oats, corn, sunflower, rapeseed, sugar beet, potatoes, peas, soybeans and others.
Fertilizer is applied both in the form of the main fertilizer for the soil and in the form of top dressing. Ammophos contains slightly more phosphorus than nitrogen, while when applying fertilizer or top dressing of the vast majority of crops, it is recommended to apply these two components in equal proportions. For this reason, nitrogen monofertilizer is often added to ammophos before use. However, for example, when applying ammophos to the soil intended for sowing winter crops or cotton, it is possible to use ammophos without adding nitrogen fertilizers, which can be applied later as top dressing.
The dosage of fertilizer, of course, depends on the properties of the specific soil. Depending on the extent to which the arable layer of the soil will be provided with phosphorus, specialists will be able to provide you with recommendations regarding the dose of amphos application, as well as the size of the dose of nitrogen fertilizers.

Ammophos is used in almost all types of soil and in almost any climatic zones of our country. In arid zones, the use of ammophos, for example, requires much less nitrogen
fertilizers. In slightly alkaline and neutral soils, the use of ammophos will contribute to the formation of a phosphate regime favorable for plants. In conditions of protected soil, ammofos is used in combination with nitrogen and
potassium fertilizers.
