Mechanism of action
Thiophanate-methyl blocks the processes of fungal cell division, preventing the development of conidia, the formation of a growth tube and penetration into plant tissue, and also blocks the development of mycelium.
Flutriafol inhibits the demethylation process of biosynthesis of sterols and disrupts the selectivity of the permeability of cell membranes of the pathogen. It has the ability to quickly penetrate the plant and move through the tissues. Thanks to this, the active substance moves to the site of infection, eradicating the disease and providing long-term protection of crops.
Properties
The fungicide contains two active substances with different mechanisms of action, which expand the spectrum of the drug's effectiveness and exclude the possibility of resistance. Fenix ​​Duo has preventive, curative, fumigation properties and a well-expressed "stop effect". The working solution of the drug applied to the culture, evaporating, forms a fumigation cloud that covers the entire plant and provides additional fungicidal action.
General recommendations
The fungicide protects against diseases both prophylactically and when the first symptoms appear. However, it is very important to spray before diseases cause irreversible crop losses. A mandatory requirement is to ensure continuous coverage of the area and abundant wetting of plants when applying the drug.
