The drug suppresses protein synthesis in plant cells, resulting in inhibition of chlorophyll synthesis with subsequent plant death.
Otaman herbicide quickly and effectively penetrates the leaves and other green parts of the plant thanks to the modern surface-active substance and spreads through all organs to the root system. Complete death occurs in 10-12 days, depending on weather conditions, species, stage of weed development and rate of consumption. First, yellowing of the plants is observed, then the leaves wither.
Properties of Otaman herbicide
The reliability of the drug is manifested in the form of a stable herbicidal EFFECT when used to prepare a working solution of water with a wide range of hardness. The drug is characterized by a low level of foaming ability when preparing the working solution. This property is very relevant when using the drug by the method of low-volume spraying, especially during aerial application.

General recommendations for use
The herbicide can be mixed with other commonly used pesticides on the respective crops. However, in each case, it is necessary to check the compatibility of the drugs. To enhance the herbicidal effect on weeds less sensitive to glyphosate, including perennial cereals, tank mixtures are used: Otmena (3-4 l/ha) + Alpha-Dicamba (0.3-0.5 l/ha); Ataman (3-4 l/ha) + Alpha-Ether (0.6-0.8 l/ha).
