Tribenuron-methyl stops the division of cells of sensitive weeds, as a result of which their growth stops a few hours after treatment. Visible symptoms appear after 5-8 days. Less sensitive weeds and those that are at a later stage of growth may not die, but their growth stops and they no longer compete with the crop for the consumption of nutrients and water.
Warm weather increases the rate of action of the herbicide, while cool and dry weather slows it down.
Properties of Alfa-Star herbicide
ALFA-STAR provides effective control of most annual and perennial dicotyledonous weeds, including drug-resistant groups
2,4-D. For maximum effectiveness, the herbicide should be applied during the period of active growth of weeds in the phase of 2-4 leaves of annuals and rosettes (10-15 cm) of perennials.
The systemic action of the drug allows it to penetrate through the leaves to the roots, destroying the entire plant.
The best period of control of the pink thistle is in the rosette phase, and the tenacious podmarennik - up to the 4th whorl. Thanks to the rapid disintegration of the drug in the soil, there are no restrictions for subsequent crops in the crop rotation.

The drug cannot be used if the plants are wet from dew or rain, as well as if rain is expected within 3 hours after processing. In the case of dense

The working solution must be used within 24 hours. Spraying is carried out at a wind speed of no more than 3-4 m/s. Used in dry weather.
