Pickling is carried out 2–3 days before sowing with a working suspension of the drug at the rate of 10 liters of working solution (9.5 liters of water and 0.4–0.5 liters of Ranazol®) per 1 ton of seeds. Before pickling, the seeds must be carefully calibrated and free of impurities in the form of dust and particles of broken grain, which can bind a significant amount of the active substance.
Before use, the canister with the drug should be shaken. The working solution is prepared immediately before processing. It is not recommended to leave the working solution for a long period without shaking. A mandatory requirement is to ensure uniform coverage of the seed material with a film of the working solution. To do this, during the pickling process, the amount of seeds passing through the pickling machine and the amount of working solution fed into the pickling chamber should be carefully controlled.
