The variety was created by crossing the Erytrospermum 8792/91 line with the Victoria Odessa variety and subsequent selection of the best family based on economic and valuable indicators.
A variety of Erythrospermum.
The type of development is winter. The bush is semi-erect, the plants are medium in height. The flag leaf has a moderate wax coating on the vagina and very weak or absent anthocyanin coloring of the ears. The straw is weakly filled with moderate wax coating on the upper internode and weak pubescence of the convex surface of the upper node. The ear is white or straw-yellow in color, pyramidal in shape, of medium length and density, with a moderate wax coating and existing spines. Lower spikelet scale: ovoid, shoulder straight, medium length, tooth straight, medium length, pubescence of the inner surface is weak, outer surface is moderate. The grain is red in color, of medium length, width and size. The tongue is short, there is a keel on the lower flower scale, and the ears are spike-shaped. Plants are 79–89 cm tall. The winter hardiness of the variety in freezing conditions is higher than average, and in field conditions over the years of testing it was 8.6–8.9 points. Resistance of the variety to lodging is 8.6–9.0 points. Resistance to crumbling is 8.3–9.0 points. Drought resistance 8.5–8.8 points. Over the years of testing, the variety was slightly affected by powdery mildew and brown rust. The average yield over the years of testing in the steppe zone is 66.7 t/ha, in the forest-steppe zone - 71.4 t/ha, the guaranteed increase in the forest-steppe zone is 13.3 t/ha. Weight of 1000 grains - 41.9–44.1 g. Mid-early, growing season 280–282 days. Flour milling and baking indicators are good.Grain contains 12.3–13.1% protein, gluten – 26.3–26.6%, IDC – 60 c. p., flour strength – 280–324 e.a., volume of bread from 100 g of flour – 1080–1200 ml, general baking score – 8.0–8.3 points. Strong wheat.
Recommended for cultivation in the zones: Steppes and Forest Steppes.
