NIRS DA1650 Analyzer of oilseeds, meal, cake and ready-made fodder - Fast and reliable analysis of oilseeds in one device.
The new oil cup with gold reflector adds unique flexibility to the NIRS DA1650. Now, manufacturers of edible oils can analyze both liquid oil samples and solid oil samples, which allows obtaining important data at different stages of the process, with the help of a single cost-effective analytical device. The possibility of using both solid and liquid samples makes it possible to obtain reliable measurement results, it is also necessary to note the network capabilities of the device and simple control using a touch screen - all this at a price level much lower than any other NIR solutions.
The unique solution for oilseeds consists of a specially designed cup for samples and a lid with a golden reflector, which prevents liquid spills during measurements. Together, the cup and the reflector fix the liquid level in the measuring cup, ensuring the same measurements every time. The quartz glass used protects the surface of the reflector from wear.
The easy-to-install and easy-to-use FOSS NIRS DA1650 analyzer provides an opportunity to quickly react to changes in product quality and significantly saves thanks to this opportunity. The simplest and most convenient way is to carry out routine analyzes using NIR equipment.

Parameters
Measurement of fodder and fodder in ground and granulated form, for example, quality control of pellets
Fat, Protein, Moisture, Ash, Starch, Amino acids, Total fiber, Soluble and insoluble fiber, Color and more.
v New monochromator:
The new technology of dispersion monochromators used in the NIRS DS2500 analyzer (this analyzer is compatible with FOSS XDS devices) guarantees accuracy and stability in the entire spectral range from 400 to 2500 nm. The analyzer has a previously unattainable Signal/Noise ratio, which allows you to easily analyze such necessary parameters as amino acids, as well as other parameters that require high sensitivity of the device.
A standard sample is built into the IR analyzer, with the help of which the intensity of the light source, spectral range and wavelength are controlled. The standard sample allows you to be sure that the readings of the device do not change over time and you always get accurate results. The new technology monochromator guarantees accuracy during the entire service life and does not require calibration. But both built-in and external standard samples can be used for adjustment to the environmental parameters and quality control of the analyzer.
v Remote control of the analyzer
The FOSS Mosaic software allows you to connect the analyzer to the network and provides the possibility of remote control of the device. By connecting to the analyzer, FOSS specialists or your own team can manage and optimize the operation of the device without interrupting the production process. Using the Mosaic software, you can manage any instrument settings and perform tasks such as:
Ø Control of analyzer operation and calibrations;
Ø Device diagnostics;
Ø Correction of the angle of inclination and the point of intersection;
Ø Update of calibrations;
Ø Printing reports;
Ø Protection of valuable information and calibrations;
Ø Technical support online.
With the help of the Mosaic software, it is possible to configure and control the operation of the analyzer over a local network. Without access to the Internet.

v Trial preparation
Homogeneous samples do not require preliminary grinding. (For example: grains - Wheat, Barley). Non-homogeneous samples, such as soybean meal, can be measured unground, but preliminary grinding significantly improves the accuracy and repeatability of the analyses. The sample should be homogeneous, with a particle size of no more than 1 mm. For raw materials that have a thick shell that prevents the penetration of IR rays into the product, (
Sunflower) grinding is simply necessary. Grains with a thin shell (rapeseed) can be measured without grinding.
To determine the necessity of preliminary grinding of the sample, the following test can be performed: measure the unground sample 10 times (the cup must be cleaned and refilled before each measurement). Calculate the repeatability. And if the repeatability is not satisfactory, then the sample is not homogeneous enough and it is necessary to perform preliminary grinding of the sample.
Recommended mills: It is recommended to use cyclone-type mills, for example, Cyclotec (FOSS). For samples with a high fat content, a mill with sharp knives, such as Knifetec (FOSS), should be used.
v Calibration "Forage components"
IR express analyzer NIRS DS2500 from the FOSS company allows you to get quick and accurate results both on raw materials and on finished compound feed. Products of plant origin such as soybean meal, rapeseed meal, corn and grain are the main raw materials in the production of compound feed in many countries.
Ready-to-use calibration "Forage components" was created on the basis of samples from Europe, Southeast Asia and North America. It allows you to perform input control of all incoming raw materials.
Using the "Feed Components" calibration, you get the result almost instantly without spending hours waiting for a result from a laboratory that uses wet chemistry.
v Samples used to create the "Forage Components" calibration
The calibration is designed to control the following products: cereals (wheat, oats, barley and rye), wheat flour of hard and soft varieties, soybeans, soybean meal and cake, corn, corn meal, rice, rapeseed, rapeseed meal and cake, sunflower meal, etc.

Trial preparation:
Correct sample preparation is very important for obtaining correct and accurate results. There are 2 main methods of sample preparation of juicy, coarse and green fodder:
The simplest method is to use a cyclone-type mill. But in this case, loss of moisture during grinding is inevitable. This error must be taken into account in the measurement results, because the results are presented in the form "As is", without correction for dry matter.
