Inspired by the story about the name of Pugacheva. I didn't check, but I think it's true.
The historian told. Why do you think that all the greats were called by their surnames or at least by nicknames like "Alexander the Great", and the conqueror of Siberia was simply called Ermak or Ermak Timofeevich in the proper sense?
