Contributes to faster development of microflora in soils.
It plays a significant role in deoxidizing the soil, promotes the assimilation of trace elements by plants, and protects them from pests.
The effect after the introduction of tree ash into the soil lasts for 3-4 years.
Method of application: For vegetable crops, the dose of applying wood ash is 100-150 g per 1 m, and for potatoes it is enough to add 60-100 g. For leguminous crops, the amount of wood ash should be slightly higher - 150-200 g. When planting seedlings in the soil, one and a half tablespoons of ash should be poured into each hole, this is approximately 8-10 grams. Wood ash can also be used to feed plants. For this, it is necessary to prepare a solution of 300-500 ashes per 10 liters of water.
Under raspberries, currants, gooseberries, fruit trees, as well as under strawberries, wood ash can be applied both in autumn and in spring at the rate of 100-150 grams per 1 m of garden area. When applying wood ash as
fertilizer under trees and bushes, good results are achieved using it in a mixture with
peat. In this case, a double effect is achieved: soil fertilizer and its deoxidation.
