KALIMAG mineral fertilizer combines in its composition a rather high concentration of potassium together with a number of valuable trace elements - magnesium, sodium, calcium.
Unlike the most widely used potash fertilizer - potassium chloride (K2O - 60%), which contains up to 40% chlorine, Kalimag is a low-chlorine fertilizer (chlorine content does not exceed 20%), which is of particular importance for potatoes, vegetables (tomatoes, cucumbers, onions, garlic...), berries (raspberries, currants, gooseberries...) and leguminous crops, as well as grapes, citrus and medicinal plants.
It is known that the process of photosynthesis in plants takes place with the participation of chlorophyll, an integral component of which is magnesium ions, which also significantly affect the formation of carbohydrates, their transport from leaves to roots, as a result of which plants develop a more powerful root system.
The lack of magnesium in the soil is manifested in the appearance of white spots on the leaves - "marbling" or their yellowing, twisting and fragility. Due to the lack of magnesium, the growth and vegetation of plants slows down, and with a large deficiency of it in the soil, the plants may not even enter the fruiting phase.
Sugar beets, potatoes, cereals andlegumes crops, legumes,sunflowers andcorn need the most magnesium. Millet, hemp, and sorghum are also highly sensitive to magnesium deficiency. Delay in plant development occurs if the magnesium content in the soil is less than 1-2 mg per 100 g of soil.
Kalimag is used on all types of soil for all agricultural crops: in the fall for the main tillage, and in the spring for cultivation.
