ADVANTAGESROTOR MOWERS WIRAX 1.35 m
1. High productivity
Mowing of grass, cereals, thin shrubs is carried out due to the rotation of rotors (discs) with knives. This Wirax mower has a width of 135 cm, which makes it possible to process large areas. This unit has a high operating speed - up to 12 km/h. Thanks to this, the scythe is characterized by increased productivity - up to 0.7 hectares during operation.(//tractor-service.com)
2. Big power
The increased power and optimally balanced design allow the unit to easily cope not only with soft grass, but also with hard varieties and even small branches of shrubs. The active units of the rotary mower are set in motion from the tractor's power take-off shaft through the cardan. For this type of aggregates, the recommended PTO rotation speed is 540 revolutions per minute. Taking into account that the weight of the scythe is 300 kg, the minimum power of the minitractor to which this attached equipment is aggregated should be 24 horsepower.Rotary mower Wirax is designed for a standard three-point tractor attachment.
3. Minimum cutting height
The Wirax rotary mower has a cutting height of 5.8 cm, set at the factory.
But due to the fact that the disks with the knives installed on them are in a floating position, it is possible to adjust the mowing height and reduce it to 3.2 cm. Such a scythe can mow on uneven terrain, on roadsides and on slopes at an angle of up to 20°. In addition, during periodic work with this unit, bumps and irregularities on the site are significantly smoothed out.
4. Damage resistance
The designers took into account that accidental collisions with obstacles are possible during operation, and therefore equipped the mower with a damping device. A unique safety device works due to a return spring, thanks to which the working assembly of the mower can be deflected back by 20° and bypass the obstacle.
5. Laying grass in rolls
The mowed grass is placed in neat rolls, which are later easier to dry or remove.
6. Safety at work
To prevent injuries from small stones that can fly out from under the knives, to ensure the safety of people and vehicles located at a short distance, the mower comes with a special awning made of tarpaulin, which covers the drums of the cutting mechanism and catches objects flying out from under the discs.
7. Convenience of storage and transportation.
The Wirax rotary mower has two positions - working and transport, in which it takes up a minimum of space and easily fits into a car trailer. The design provides for the installation of a two-arm axis on the frame, which serves for easy transfer of the unit from one position to another.
