ALUMINUM UNIVERSAL PROFILE
The most popular type of film fastening, which consists of a high-quality aluminum profile and a fastening element in the form of 2
plastic profiles. It is used for fixing single and double film on straight and curved sections.
ADVANTAGES
Versatility: suitable for fastening and connecting single and double films, both on straight sections and on curved ones.
Durability: the profile is resistant to damage during bending, with proper installation, it guarantees a strong attachment of the film to the structure.
The possibility of fixing the film: the use of a mounting profile allows multiple fixing and dismantling of the film, which guarantees the possibility of correcting a poorly fixed film or re-installing the film.(//tractor-service.com)
Long-term use: the profile is made of material that is not susceptible to rapid corrosion or wear. The recommended period of replacing plastic with a new one is 6-10 years (depending on the place of attachment, etc.)
Long presence on the market: the profile has been operating at Polish facilities since 2002, and the development of the shape and dimensions was done in the 80s in France, Spain and Greece.
INSTALLATION METHOD
It is recommended to fasten the profile to the supporting element with M6 galvanized screws, fastening every 40-50 cm. Recommended load-bearing elements: profile 30x30, 40x30, 40x20, thick flat steel sheets, pipes. Fastening with self-tapping screws can cause problems (possibility of damage during strong winds).
After installing the profile on the structure, you can begin covering the object with a film. It is necessary to insert a film between the aluminum and plastic (trough) and fix it
plastic (wedge) profile. The trough must be placed at an angle of 45% in order to block the film and not damage the profile itself until the exact fixing of the plastic profile in the aluminum / steel. Thanks to this, the free end of the film has the opportunity to get into the profile.
It is necessary to avoid tensioning the film (first by blocking the free end of the film with plastic clips) due to possible cutting of it inside the profile. It is recommended to hammer the wedge with a rubber hammer.
