Seeder Astra Nova 5.4A Elvorty variator, Dnepropetrovsk region.

Seeder Astra Nova 5.4A Elworth variator - a new generation of seeders for regular sowing of grain seeds (wheat, rye, barley, oats), legumes (peas, beans, soybeans, lentils, beans, chickpeas, lupins), small-seeded crops (rapeseed, mustard), loose and medium-loose grass seeds, with the simultaneous application of mineral fertilizers and rolling of the soil in the sown rows.
The Astra Nova 5.4A Elworth seed drill of the variator generation has a number of advantages: a hopper for seeds and fertilizer with a volume increased by 1.5 times (fat - 1000 dm3, grain - 500 dm3); a system of stepless regulation of sowing rates of both seeds and fertilizers; grain and fat seeding devices made of polymer material; combined coils of grain seeding devices; two-disc coulters with offset discs made of boron-containing steel.

Planters are available in the following versions:
- Seed drill Astra Nova 5.4A – for row sowing with two-disc coulters and finger wrappers; 135
- Сеялка Астра Нова 5.4A-06 – для рядового посева с двухдисковыми сошниками и прикатывающими wheels.
To convert to the Astra Nova 5.4A-04 Seeder model - for row sowing with two-disc, two-row coulters, it is necessary to purchase a set of coulters.
When using the SP-10.8 coupling, it is possible to assemble a tractor hydrofed wide-grip unit from two seed drills Astra Nova 5.4A seed drill, which increases productivity by 1.5-2 times.
The hitch is aggregated with tractors from 150 hp.towed by method.

Grain and fat seeding devices are made of polymer material, which excludes the possibility of corrosion of device parts and, accordingly, increases the service life.
The sowing device for the seeds of grain and leguminous crops is equipped with a valve that has three fixed positions that regulate the rate of seed material feeding to the screw coil.
The grain seeding device has a screw coil for sowing grain and leguminous crops and a pin coil for small-seeded crops (rapeseed, mustard), as well as sowing loose and medium-loose grass seeds.

The seeding device for small-seeded crops is also equipped with a separate flap, which has three fixed positions that regulate the rate of seed supply to the pin coil.
Instead of gear mechanical transmissions, variators are installed on the seeder, separately on the shafts of grain and on the shafts of fat seeding devices, which ensures quick and accurate regulation of the sowing rates of both seeds and fertilizer.
Handles for group opening (closing) of valves in seeding devices are installed on the shafts of grain and fat seeding devices.
The seeder is equipped with markers on which separate hydraulic cylinders are installed, which facilitates their control by the operator from the tractor cabin.
ASTRA NOVA 5,4A-06 is equipped with two-disc single-row coulters with offset discs and rollingrollers.
The design of the "coulter and rolling roller" unit allows you to more accurately, with an interval of 1 cm, regulate the depth of seed placement, while rolling the surface layer of the soil, which affects the uniformity of seed germination and the increase in yield.

To order, the planters are equipped with a transport device, which allows them to be moved on general purpose roads without the use of additional means of transport.
