The separator is designed to separate fruit stalks and plant impurities from frozenberries before further processing.

Principle of operation

The frozen berry is first loaded into a hoppercrushers where the large frozen lumps are broken and separated.

After that, the berry enters the stem separator, where during mixing the berries interact with each other. Thanks to the friction between the berries, the stalks are separated from the products.

Separated fruit stalks and small plant impurities are sifted through a perforated sieve and fall into a separate storage tray.

The cleaned berry leaves the separator and is fed to the next stage of the process line — for example, cleaning, polishing, calibration or inspection.

The result: automatic cleaning of the frozen berry from the stalks with a continuous supply of products for further processing.
