Pancho is a simple early-ripening
sunflower hybrid VNIS selection, intended for cultivation according to SU technology with the use of
herbicides based on tribenuron-methyl.
The hybrid combines high yield potential, good adaptability, and high resistance to sunflower scab. Pancho responds positively to increased humidity, forming powerful plants and ensuring uniform development even under contrasting conditions of the season.

Advantages of Pancho hybrid
Early maturity. The vegetation period is about 100–105 days, which allows the use of the hybrid in farms where early ripening of sunflowers is important.
High productivity potential. Under favorable conditions and compliance with cultivation technology, the potential of the hybrid is up to 5.6 t/ha.
SU / Granstar technology. Pancho has genetic resistance to herbicides based on tribenuron-methyl at a rate of 50 g/ha and can be used in the SU system.
High resistance to lupus. One of the key advantages of Pancho is its resistance to the A-G+ lupus races, which makes the hybrid interesting for fields with a high risk of lupus.

Resistance to laying and shedding. According to the VNIS assessment, the resistance to lodging and shedding is 9/9, which contributes to the preservation of the crop until harvesting.
Good disease resistance. The hybrid is characterized by high resistance to powdery mildew and white rot, as well as good resistance to rust and gray rot.
Resistance to diseases and stress factors:
Location: 9/9
Drought resistance: 7/9
Scaling: 9/9
Fomoz: 7/9
Phomopsis: 7/9
Rust: 8/9
False powdery mildew: 9/9
Gray Rot: 8/9
White Rot: 9/9
Wolf: 9 | A–G+
Recommended density before harvesting:
Zone of sufficient moisture: 55–60 thousand plants/ha
Zone of moderate moisture: 52–55 thousand plants/ha
Zone of insufficient moisture: 45–50 thousand plants/ha
The optimal density should be determined taking into account moisture reserves, soil fertility and specific farm conditions.
Who is Pancho suitable for?
Pancho VNIS is a good choice for farms looking for an early maturing SU hybrid with high yield potential, high resistance to downy mildew and good resistance to shedding and disease.
Pancho VNIS is an early ripening SU-hybrid with a vegetation period of 100–105 days, a yield potential of up to 5.6 t/ha, an oil content of 53.7% and resistance to lupus of races A–G+.
