Herbicide Triathlon Prime - a new systemic herbicide for the protection of grain crops from the maximum number of harmful annual and perennial dicotyledonous weeds with additional crop protection
Active substance: Tribenuron-methyl, 250 g/kg + tifensulfuron-methyl, 250 g/kg + florasulam, 100 g/kg + (antidote) isoxadifen-ethyl, 100 g/kg
Advantages
Enhanced action against dicotyledonous weeds.
No phytotoxic effect on culture.
Effective action even on overgrown weeds.
Suitable for autumn use.
No restrictions on crop rotation.
Culture Objects Drug consumption rate, kg/ha Treatment method Maximum number of treatments
Winter wheat, spring barley Annual and perennial dicots, incl. resistant to 2,4-D, weeds, self-sowing of sunflower, resistant to tribenuron methyl and imidazolinones 0.04-0.06 (PAR Alfalip Extra 0.2-0.25 l/ha) Spraying of crops starting from the phase of 2-3 leaves until the appearance of the flag leaf of the culture inclusive 1

Winter barley, spring wheat and rye Annual and perennial dicots, incl. resistant to 2,4-D, weeds, self-sowing sunflower, resistant to tribenuron methyl and imidazolinones 0.04-0.06 (PAR Alfalip Extra 0.2-0.25 l/ha) Spraying of crops starting from the phase of 2-3 leaves until the appearance of the flag leaf of the culture inclusive 1
Mechanism of action
After processing, the active substances of the drug quickly penetrate the leaves and move in the plants to the growth points. The action of the drug consists in suppressing the enzyme acetolactate synthase and the subsequent blocking of the formation of valine and isoleucine, disrupting the process of synthesis of proteins and nucleic acids. At the same time, cell division and plant growth of sensitive weed species stop within 3 hours after application. Isoxadifen-ethyl affects enzymes that accelerate the degradation of active substances-herbicides in grain crops.
Properties
Visible symptoms of action (arrest of growth, chlorosis, necrosis, reddening of leaves, whitening of tops) appear after 4-7 days, and complete death of weeds occurs after 14-28 days. Insensitive and overgrown weeds may not die, but their growth and further development slows down significantly. Warm, humid weather increases the effectiveness of the herbicide, while cool and dry weather slows down its effect.
Spectrum of action
Susceptible weeds are common ragweed, ragweed (species), cyclohena (black heart),
parsley dog's sedge, common sedge, field romanum, field sedum, ragwort, common sorrel, blue cornflower, white quinoa, thistle (species), wild carrot, curly vetch (species), fennel prickly pear (species), stinging nettle (species), chamomile (species), wild radish, sorrel (species), bitter gourd (species), field plantain, medium star, pea (species), poppy (species), field mustard, carrion
sunflower, incl. resistant to tribenuron-methyl and imidazolinones, rapeseed rape, nettle (species); medium-sensitive weeds – three-parted rowan, black nightshade, king's rose (species), radiant biphora, field sparrow, veronica (species), field violet, medicinal dandelion, white milkweed; Weeds with low sensitivity: milkweed (species), field birch, rutabaga, grass weeds, rapeseed rape resistant to imidazolinones.
General recommendations
The highest effectiveness of the drug is observed when spraying annual weeds in the 2-6 leaf phase, perennial weeds in the rosette phase (10-15 cm). The herbicide must be used in a mixture with the surfactant Alfalip Extra. The drug cannot be used if the plants are wet from dew or rain, as well as if rain is expected within 3 hours after treatment. Avoid using the drug during heat, drought, frost, strong wind and other adverse weather conditions. For autumn application, avoid frost for 14 days after application. To obtain the highest efficiency, it is necessary: spraying should be carried out at a wind speed of no more than 5 m/s and air humidity not lower than 50%; observe the uniformity and quality of spraying over the entire field area; use Alfalip Extra surfactant; the agitator
sprayer must work throughout the processing time.
