Primer roof elastomeric ULTRASIL Ecobit DSTU B V.2.7-108-2001 This instruction was developed for the implementation of waterproofing of construction structures of underground parts built and constructed, including subway tunnels of small laying with the use of elastomeric composite material ULTRASIL Ecobit, for the installation and repair of rolled and non-rolled roofs, as well as for waterproofing concrete and reinforced concrete constructions in industrial and civil construction..

This instruction was developed for the waterproofing of construction structures of underground parts built and built, including subway tunnels of shallow construction with the use of elastomeric composite material ULTRASIL Ecobit, developed and produced by Hermetyk Universal LLC.

In addition to this instruction, when performing waterproofing work, you should be guided by the requirements of DBN V.2.6-14-97 "Constructions completed and constructed. Finished and constructed coatings (volumes 1, 2 and 3), RSN 355-91 "Design and implementation of sealing and waterproofing of surfaces using butyl rubber mastics", SNiP 3.04.01-87 "Insulating and finishing coatings".

1. Description of the material

Elastomer composite material ULTRASIL Ecobit is a two-component composition.
Composition No. 1 - a viscous homogeneous mass without extraneous impurities, containing a high-molecular polymer, fillers, modifiers,
technologicaladditives and solvent.
Composition No. 2 - powder vulcanizing agent.
After combining components No. 1 and No. 2, thoroughly mixing and applying the elastomeric composition to the protected surface, a cold vulcanization process occurs due to a chemical reaction, and the coating acquires a rubber-like structure.
The coating on the protected surface can be applied mechanized by spraying, as well as by hand, with a brush, roller, spatula, or paddle. It is possible to work with ULTRASIL Ecobit material at temperatures from -20°С to +40°С, providing the possibility of year-round use. At the same time, the material does not require heating.
Ecobit ULTRASIL coating is characterized by a number of operational advantages:
-has a high adhesive ability to all structural materials used in construction (concrete, metal, etc.);
- allows significant (more than 500%) stretching, is resistant to cyclic dynamic loads, has high physical and mechanical characteristics;
-has high chemical resistance to aggressive media.
(alkalis, acids) and resistance to atmospheric factors (UV radiation, ozone, temperature changes);
- waterproof.
2. ULTRASIL Ecobit application technology

2.1. Requirements for the protected surface

The waterproofed surface of construction structures, underground parts of buildings, including small subway tunnels, must be pre-cleaned from contamination and pre-dedusted by blowing with a stream of compressed air.
It is allowed to apply a waterproofing layer on a surface with a humidity of no more than 80%.

2.2. Preparation of ULTRASIL Ecobit for application.

With each unit of packaging with composition No. 1, a package with composition No. 2 is delivered in the amount corresponding to the mass of composition No. 1. For 1 kg of composition No. 1, 0.005 kg (5 grams) of composition No. 2 is required.
To prepare the ULTRASIL Ecobit working composition, it is necessary to introduce composition #2 into composition #1 and thoroughly mix ("15 min.") until a homogeneous mass is formed using mechanical means. After mixing, the working composition must be loaded into the receiving hopper of the putty unit type СО 150А or СО-150Б.
After combining components No. 1 and No. 2, the material must be used within no more than 12 hours.

2.3. ULTRASIL Ecobit application technology

On the cleaned and dust-free surface, apply a priming layer (primer) consisting of ULTRASIL Ecobit diluted by 70%.
The priming operation is mandatory.
ULTRASIL Ecobit primer is supplied by the supplier - "Hermetyk Universal" LLC at the customer's request.
The application is carried out by feeding the material for spraying with a screw unit of type СО - 150 and spraying with a putty sprayer СО 123 A with compressed air supply to create a spray torch. The most effective from the point of view of quality 6
application and increase productivity, it is necessary to supply compressed air for spraying with a pressure of 6-8 atm and a flow rate of 3-5 m3 / min.
The consumption of ULTRASIL Ecobit during priming is 0.5-0.7 kg per 1 ivT of the insulated surface.
The vulcanization time of the primer layer is no more than 1-2 hours, depending on weather conditions.
The primer layer is considered suitable for further work if there is no adhesion when walking on it (the primer layer does not lag behind the concrete).
After vulcanization of the primer layer, it is necessary to apply the main layer ULTRASIL Ecobit.
The base layer is also applied by spraying with a CO-150 type unit with a CO-123A sprayer and compressed air supply with a pressure of 6-8 atm and a flow rate of 3-5 m3/min.
The amount of material supplied and the productivity of application are regulated on the spraying device by changing the ratio of the supplied material and air, as well as by changing the gaps on the nozzle of the spray gun.
Consumption of ULTRASIL Ecobit when applying the base layer is ~ 2 kg / m2.
The vulcanization time of the main layer is 24 hours. The main layer is considered vulcanized if it does not stick when walking on it.(//tractor-service.com)
The thickness of the ULTRASIL Ecobit waterproofing layer in the dry residue (after vulcanization) should be 0.8 - 1.5 mm (1 -o, 2+° / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / ' 5mm)

3. Requirements for the quality of work performance.

In order to perform high-quality waterproofing of construction structures, it is necessary to monitor the availability of accompanying documentation for ULTRASIL Ecobit and the following technological operations:

- surface humidity control,
- control of the mixing of components No. 1 and No. 2,
- control of the integrity of the primer and base layers,
- quality control of vulcanization of layers,

Concept of liquid rubber
Liquid rubber is a one- or two-component, cold-applied, instantly solidifying composition, the structure of which is based on a polymer-bitumen emulsion. When interacting with oxygen, it does not become a source of toxic compounds of a volatile nature, does not contain solvents. The main component is bitumen, in some cases natural rubber can be used. Analogous to classic rubber, it has a black color, good characteristics related to elasticity, waterproofing. In another way, it can be called "seamless spray-on waterproofing".

Motorists use a different composition, characterized by a one-component structure based on a solution of styrene rubber and an organic solvent.
