The Great Plains PL5500 model is a simple 8-row folding planter with a small transport width of 2.97 m, which allows safe and convenient movement
tools from one field to another. The minimum requirements for the drawbar power are only 115 hp, which makes this machine compatible with a large number of tractors.

The planter PL5500 provides optimal seed supply, accurate sowing, as well as high-quality closing of the seed furrow in any conditions. It is equipped
5000 series coulters and advanced Air-Pro seeders that have a simple positive air pressure system. Optional electric drive of seeders(//tractor-service.com)
of devices makes it possible to work with variable rates, control sections of rows, compensate for the operation of the system on turns, while guaranteeing at the same time
optimal sowing rates and simultaneous reduction of production costs. The new openers of the 5000 series provide for a 66% increased internal seed pocket.
device and a simplified casing design, as well as a choice of seed boxes with a volume of 56 l and 106 l with a gas lid stop. Both dry and liquid input options
fertilizers allow agricultural producers to introduce this row drill into their fertilization system and place fertilizers or directly into the seed bed.
furrow (liquid), or at a distance of 5 cm from the row (dry or liquid fertilizers) using special coulters or dribblers. The Row-Pro system offers automatic
adjustment of soil pressure on each rowplanters.

A new shorter attachment of the rolling wheels (for some row spacing sizes) is available, which ensures optimal contact of the seed with the soil and effective closing.

types of seeds.
The compact width of the seeder in the folded position makes it easier to maneuver and transport the implement from one field to another.
Special coulters or dribblers allow you to apply liquid or dry fertilizers either in the furrow (liquid) or at a distance of 5 cm from the furrow (dry and liquid).
It is equipped with a system of electric drives of sowing devices, which ensures uniform distribution of seeds in the furrow even on steep turns.
The new Air-Pro 5000 series seeders, combined with a simple positive air pressure system, guarantee the highest seeding quality in the industry.
The electric drive of sowing machines allows you to reduce the costs of machine maintenance due to the absence of drive chains and shafts, and the control system
sections of the seeder saves seeds by changing the sowing rate and the row blocking function. The electric drive contributes to even distribution
seeds in the soil and maximum use of the potential of the field with any surface bends. The enlarged internal pocket of the seed drill provides
stable filling of the seeder at higher seeding speeds and gives excellent results when working with different types of seeds, including corn,
soybeans, peanuts, etc.
