Augers for feed extruder ESH-58
The outer diameter is 58 mm. internal 32 mm.
The main working part in extruders is the screw. Work in extreme temperature regimes, under the influence of high pressure and friction force, leads to inevitable wear of the auger. Depending on the model, they are replaced through a certain amount of recycled products.
The resource of the ESH-58 screws is designed for 8-12 tons of grain mixture processing. During operation, the 2nd or 3rd screw number fails, the 1st and 4th remain almost unchanged.
Screws when installed on the shaft
extruder have the order of location relative to the depth and width of the coil. Screws No. 1, 2 have the largest width between the turns, screw No. 3 is smaller and No. 4 has the smallest "groove" width.
The procedure for installing screws on a Ø 32 mm shaft. (start of installation from the bearing housing):
(//tractor-service.com)
1) screw No. 1 and No. 2 (groove width 10.5 mm);
2) thrust ring No. 1 (Ø 51 mm);
3) screw No. 3 (groove width 9.7 mm);
4) thrust ring No. 2 (Ø 55 mm.);
5) screw No. 4 (groove width 8.7 mm).
To disassemble the screws, you must first unscrew the cone nut, which has a left-hand thread. If there are difficulties during unscrewing, you can heat it with a blowtorch to a temperature of 120-140ºС, while not overheating, in order to avoid weakening the strength of the steel. Next, we heat the sections of the set auger and thrust rings in the same way, then use a hammer and a wedge in the form of a plate, knocking down the augers. When disassembling the screws, do not use heavy sledgehammers or hammers, you will disturb the centering of the shaft, which in turn will lead to oscillation of the shaft and possible damage to the working parts of the extruder.
