The PG-160T-KR branch chipper with a reinforced frame is designed for processing and shredding branches, rails and other wood waste by cutting them into pieces 12-24 cm long, which are ideal for use as fuel for boilers, stoves, fireplaces, as well as for the production of wood coal.

The model of this chipper PG-160T-K is capable of cutting branches of soft wood with a diameter of up to 16 cm, branches of hard wood with a diameter of up to 14 cm, (flat material) slats and rails up to 8 cm. The use of the chipper is most useful for communal services, wood processing farms, forestry, sawmills, farms and private individuals (to facilitate the harvesting process fuel).

Design features

The shredder of branches of the T-KR series is driven by the GDP of the tractor and is mounted on a standard three-point hitch. The minimum necessarypower of the tractor to work with the branch chopper is 80 hp. To connect the tractor to the shredder, we recommend using a cardan shaft with a friction clutch, which protects the branch shredder and thetractor from overloads. The productivity of the PG-160T-KR branch shredder is up to 12 m³ of finished products per hour of operation. The use of a wood chipper is most useful for utilities, woodworking farms, forestry, sawmills, farms and private individuals (to facilitate the process of fuel harvesting). The units are equipped with a cylindrical cutting system and three types of drives. The configuration of six knives is given special attention in the development of structures of shredders, since they are the main working element of the shredders and they receive the impact load. In addition, steel knives are heat-treated to give them strength, and for safe operation they are closed with shredder elements.

Principle of operation
The branch shredder mechanism automatically pulls in the material to be cut. We carry out quality control at all stages of our production. All landing surfaces must be polished. The quality of welds is constantly monitored. Mechanism housings are made of certified sheet with a thickness of 20 mm. Before painting, we clean all structures.shredders are covered with powder paint, which greatly extends the service life of the structures.
