The laboratory of LLC "JI-LAB" (hereinafter - G-LAB) was founded in 2009 in Odesa, Ukraine. Today, G-LAB is one of the best laboratories in the south of Ukraine, which allows you to quickly and qualitatively conduct a wide range of analyzes: from the simplest to the most complex physicochemical studies of various types of agricultural crops, their processing products, oil crops and food products.
One of the activities of the laboratory is the determination of genetically modified organisms (GMOs) in grain, vegetable oils, fodder and food products. Conducting analyzes is based on the use of the PCR-RV principle - the most reliable method of GMO testing, which allows for both qualitative and quantitative analysis of plant raw materials and food products. The G-LAB laboratory determines safety indicators in food raw materials and food products: mycotoxins, toxic elements, pesticides, activity of radionuclides; physical and chemical parameters: moisture content, protein, fat, fiber content, oil acid number, glucosinolate content, fatty acid composition; indicators ofgrain quality: garbage and oil impurities, contamination by pests, etc.) etc. Research is conducted in accordance with Ukrainian and international standards and requirements of ISO, GAFTA, DSTU, GOST.
The laboratory is accredited in accordance with international standards DSTU ISO/IEC 17025:2019 (Certificate No. 201149 dated 04.01.2024), ILAC and GAFTA and successfully confirms its competence every year.
