New sunflower hybrid selection of VNIS, resistant to
herbicides group of imidazolinones (IMI).
An early-ripening hybrid of the intensive type, flexible for cultivation in different soil and climatic zones of Ukraine. It is characterized by high heat and drought resistance. It is characterized by high tolerance to herbicides of the imidazolinone group and the absence of external manifestations of intoxication. The Euro sunflower hybrid was included in the State Register of Plant Varieties in 2018.

Sunflower "Euro" is characterized by high resistance to drought and high temperatures. Responds well to improvements in agricultural technology and balanced sowing density, application of mineral fertilizers. The hybrid responds well to vertical tillage. Has increased resistance to stem breakage. The basket is dense, thin, dries quickly.
The optimal density of plants during the growing season is 50-55 thousand/ha.
The optimal time of sowing is early. The latest sowing date in the eastern regions and in the south is until May 20.
