Sunflower Rimisol developed by the Selection Institute of Serbia, Novi Sad. This hybrid is the development of leading European breeders. Sunflower cultivation is carried out on the best land in the world - in Ukraine. Cultivation is carried out by the Nertus Agro company under the full control of the originator's specialists.

Sunflower hybrid Rimisol is resistant toherbicides from the group of imidazolinols. The Nertus Agro company recommends using such herbicides as Euro-Land at a rate of 1-1.2 l/ha or Eurolang 1-1.2 l/ha. The optimal time to apply the herbicide is the phase of 4-8 sunflower leaves.

The vegetation period of plants is 105-110 days. Seedlings of culture are characterized by high intensity of development in the initial stage. The height of adult sunflowers reaches 140-160 cm, while a stem of medium thickness is formed. Baskets are characterized by a thin convex shape, the diameter of which is approximately 19-22 cm.

Features of the Rimisol hybrid:

• shows high resistance to kphomopsis;
• Genetically resistant to carbon rot;
• Resistant to sunflower moth and 5 races of downy mildew (in combination with an insurance herbicide for all races of the disease)
• shows very high resistance to shedding;
• Resistant to lodging and drought;
• High level of oil content in grains - up to 47-49%;
• forms a powerful and branched root system, which allows the use of soil moisture at a depth of 1.5 to 2.5 m;
• High potential yield - more than 40 t/ha;
• Resistant to herbicides of the imidazoline group;
• Has high nectar productivity.
