BIOLOGICAL CHARACTERISTICS: tall variety, intensive type, medium-ripening. It has high frost and winter resistance. Drought resistance is high. Resistant to powdery mildew and brown leaf rust. Resistant to shedding andgrain germination. A variety of lutescens.
GRAIN QUALITY: flour milling and bread-making properties are good.Grain of the Darinka Kyivska variety contains 13.5–14.5% protein, 29.1–29.8% crude gluten, flour strength 270–275 a.a., the volume of bread from 100 g of flour is 1010–1050 ml. Strong wheat.
ECONOMIC CHARACTERISTICS: high-yielding variety, intensive type. According to the data of the Institute of Plant Physiology and Genetics of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, during the 3 years of competitive testing (2014-2016), the average yield of the Darinka Kyivska variety was 107.5 t/ha and provided a grain allowance to the national standard (Yednist variety) of 20.8 t/ha .
The maximum yield of the Darinka Kyivska variety was 116.3 t/ha (2015).(//tractor-service.com)
In an ecological test in three points (Polyssia, Forest Steppe, Steppe zones) in 2016, the Darinka Kyivska winter soft wheat variety provided a yield of 103.2 t/ha, which is 20.6 t/ha higher than the national standard (Yednist variety).| ||164
Урожайність сорту у Державному сортовивченні у 2016р. в зоні Степу становила 59,9 ц/га, в зоні Лісостепу – 72,2 ц/га, Полісся –63,5 ц/га.
Significant increases in the yield of the Darinka Kyivska variety to the national standard of 6.1 - 45.5 t/ha were obtained in 14 variety trials in 14 regions of Ukraine (Volyn, Zhytomyr, Ivano-Frankivsk, Chernihiv, Kyiv, Vinnytsia, Sumy, Poltava, Ternopil, Cherkasy, Donetsk , Kirovohrad, Odesa, Mykolaiv).
At the Sumy State Expert Center in 2016, with a yield of 108.9 t/ha, the grain allowance amounted to 45.5 t/ha.
AGROTECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS: the variety must be grown using intensive technology with the introduction of optimal doses of mineral fertilizers. On high levels of mineral nutrition, retardants should be applied to prevent lodging. To ensure high grain yields, it is also necessary to protect plants from pests and diseases, especially after throwing out the ear, with fungicides such as Alto Super, Falcon or Folicur.
In order to obtain high-quality grain, it is necessary to carry out the third top dressing with dry nitrogen fertilizers or foliar top dressing with urea N10–15 kg per year. per hectare in the phase of earing-milk ripeness.
