Purple potatoes of the Vitelot variety, Chernihiv region.

I offer planting material for potatoes as well as commercial potatoes of the Vitelot variety.
The tubers have a dark purple, almost black skin and dark purple flesh due to the high content of anthocyanins; elongated shape, as a rule, no more than 10 centimeters in length. The average weight of one tuber is about 70 grams. Potatoes retain their color during cooking. Potatoes have a thick skin and therefore lie well. Due to the significant content ofstarch, it is highly boiled, ideal for preparing potatopuree, which will have a rich lilac color. Plants they ripen late and, in comparison with modern varieties, have a rather low yield, in connection with which it is practically not grown industrially, it is processed in private farms and in small quantities using manual labor. For this reason, the price for this variety is several times higher than for others.
