Repair of a Volvo FH power steering pump, Ivano-Frankivsk region.

Task of power steering system pump Volvo FH power steering consists in ensuring constant movement and maintaining optimal pressure of the working fluid in the hydraulic system. To activate the pump, a mechanism is used, which receives energy from the crankshaft of the power unit of the vehicle, which is transmitted by means of a belt or toothed transmission (used on trucks and tractors). Thus, the hydraulic system functions in parallel with the operation of the engine.
