Horse beans

A variety with beige seed color, indeterminate (unlimited) growth type, registered in the Register of Varieties of Ukraine in 2017.

Belongs to high-yielding medium-sized varieties with a plant height of 100-140 cm. The height of the attachment of the first bean is 35.0-40.0 cm. There is no black pigmentation of the scar.

Medium-ripe variety, growing season 120-150 days.  

Grain large, weight of 1000 seeds 500-550 g. Sowing rate at 18 cm row spacing – 600-700 thousand seeds/ha, 45 cm row spacing – 350-500 thousand. seeds/ha.

The variety is high-yielding, the average yield in the farm is 56.7 t/ha, the potential yield of grain is 50-60 t/ha, the average potential yield of green mass is 550-610%.

A feature of the variety is its high nutritional value and digestibility of protein - 84-85%.

The variety is drought-resistant with high resistance to plant lodging and grain shedding. It is characterized by increased resistance against ascochitosis, bacteriosis, fusariosis and striped spotting.

Intended for fodder purposes. The content of crude protein in grain is 27-30%, and the content of crude protein in green mass is 10.0-10.3%.

Recommended growing zones: Polissia, Forest-Steppe and Steppe zones of Ukraine.
