Mechanism of action of the drug:
Helios herbicide suppresses the synthesis of amino acids in plant cells, resulting in the inhibition of chlorophyll synthesis with the subsequent death of plants, including their root system.
Thanks to its unique formulation and modern production technology, Helios herbicide quickly penetrates the leaves and other green parts of vegetative plants and spreads throughout all organs.
Annual plants develop chlorosis in 2-5 days and die in 5-12 days, while perennial plants die in 14-21 days.
Attention! The herbicide is used only on actively growing weeds and does not affect plants that have emerged after the action of the herbicide.

General recommendations for the use of the drug:
The drug should be used in dry and windless weather no later than 6 hours before precipitation. During spraying, it is necessary to prevent the herbicide from getting on the leaves of cultivated plants, trees and shrubs. Do not use Helios herbicide at an air temperature below 13°C and above 25°C.
As a herbicide, the drug is applied by a single spraying of actively growing weeds. The consumption rate depends on the type of weeds and their development phase. Spraying is carried out 12-14 days before mechanical processing (cultivation, disking, plowing). Rain for 6 hours after spraying can significantly reduce the effectiveness of the drug. The consumption rate of the working solution depends on the density of the grass and is 100-300 l/ha. An important condition is a complete uniform coating of the plants with the working solution.
Procedure for preparing the working solution of the drug:
Water for preparing the working solution must be clean. A large amount of foreign bodies, silt or clay in the water can significantly affect the effectiveness of the herbicide. When using hard water, it is recommended to use reduced concentrations of the working solution and increased doses of the drug.
The recommended concentration of the working solution is from 1% to 3%.
The working solution is prepared immediately before carrying out the herbicide treatment: measure the necessary amount of the drug for one filling of the sprayer and fill the tank with water halfway, then turn on the mixer. Then pour the necessary amount of the drug into the sprayer and after 15-20 minutes add water to the full volume.
Attention! The mixer must be turned on during the preparation of the working solution and during spraying.
