We provide advice on planting specifically on wood, where there are certain advantages when selecting the size of seedlings, with minimal financial investments and risks. It is also necessary to understand that in order to obtain high-quality wood, it will be necessary to apply a technological cut, after which the tree will grow up to 2, 3 meters per season, without a single branch, which will significantly affect the price of future wood. Growing black walnut is a long-term investment, and it makes no sense to treat it as the main type of business, at least for the first 20 years, but then a few hectares of commercial forest will be enough even for great-grandchildren. There is also a great advantage of growing the American walnut in areas not suitable for agriculture, that is, gullies, hills, this walnut will grow anywhere. We also havenuts on sale with a pericarp, from two to five UAH, with different approaches to germination, which we will tell you, you will get from 50% of same-year seedlings, but you will lose two years of planting.
