Salami Milano from Italian manufacturer Blu Italia is a special type of raw smoked sausage that combines selected pieces of beef,
pork, small pieces of lard, nutmeg, cinnamon, black pepper,
garlic and white wine. This type of salami ripens for about 3 months. This famous Italian delicacy long ago won an army of fans all over the world. Salami Milano is considered the least salty of all salamis. The lard for this sausage is chopped very finely, a piece should be no larger than a grain of rice. Salami is smoked for 2 weeks with the addition of juniper branches, sometimes soaked in grape spirit or wine.
