Belongs to valuable wheat.

ECONOMIC CHARACTERISTICS: high-yielding variety of high-intensity type. Ensures obtaining high and stable harvests over the years on different backgrounds of mineral nutrition. Undemanding to growing conditions, predecessors and sowing dates, has high ecological plasticity. According to the originator (IFRG HAH of Ukraine), during the years of competitive testing (2000-2004), the average yield of Favorite was 73.0 t/ha, which was 15.0 t/ha higher than the yield of the national standard.
За роки (2000-2004 рр.) екологічного випробування на полях НДЦ «Південний» (Кіровоградська область) середній урожай сорту Фаворитка становив 100,1 ц/га (93,3-107,2 ц/га), що на 14,6 ц/га більше від національного стандарту Альбатрос одеський.
The grain yield in the State Varietal Study (2003, 2004) in 49 varietal trials was 50.6-124.0 t/ha. Significant increases in the yield of the Favorite variety to the national standard — 5.1-48.8 t/ha — were obtained in 58 variety tests in Vol. h increases of 10.8-48.8 t/ha — in 38 variety trials in 17 regions of Ukraine, covering the steppe, forest-steppe, and Polissia zones (Mykolaiv, Odesa, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhya, Kirovohrad, Vinnytsia, Chernivtsi, Cherkasy, Poltava, Ivano-Frankivsk , Zakarpattia, Zhytomyr, Lviv, Rivne, Volyn, Kyiv, Chernihiv).
The maximum yield of the variety — 107.2 t/ha was obtained in the ecological test of the NDC "Southern" (Kirovohrad Region, 2001) and in the Center for Varietal Science and
variety study (Kyiv region) — 107.4-114.3 t/ha at the normsseed sowing 3.0-6.0 million/ha (2004).
High yields 93.0; 106.5; 117.7 t/ha (2007-2009) was obtained in the Experimental agricultural production of the IFRG HAH of Ukraine (Glevakh village, Vasylkiv district, Kyiv region).
In 2008-2009, 8 farms in Ukraine received yields of the Favorite variety of 100.0—132.0 t/ha. In 2009, the Favorite winter wheat variety in Cherkasy region (AF "Ladis") with an area of ​​136 hectares provided a record grain yield of 131.8 t/ha in the centuries-old history of Ukraine.(//tractor-service.com)

Features of growing the variety:
AGROTECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS: the variety must be grown using intensive technology with the introduction of optimal and high doses of mineral fertilizers. On high levels of mineral nutrition, to prevent lodging, it is necessary to apply retardants. In order to ensure high yieldsgrains it is necessary to also protect plants from pests and diseases, especially after throwing out the ears, with fungicides such as alto super, falcon or folikur.
З метою отримання високоякісного зерна потрібно проводити третє підживлення сухими азотовими туками чи позакореневе підживлення карбамідом N10-15 кг на га у фазі колосіння-молочна стиглість.
