Ammonium sulfate (NS 21-24) crystalline and granular or ammonium salt of sulfuric acid, the chemical formula of which is (NH₄)₂SO₄ is a nitrogen fertilizer with sulfur. Under normal conditions, they are white, hygroscopic crystals or granules. There is a chemical composition of caprolactan and coke. The fertilizer is universal and can be used to feed all crops: winter and spring cereals, technical crops, root crops, etc., as well as in vegetable growing and horticulture. The ammonium and sulfur formula of the fertilizer reduces its unproductive losses after application to the soil, in fact, 95% is absorbed by the root system. Sulfur, which is part of the fertilizer, enhances nitrogen assimilation. Ammonium sulfate is used for direct application, in the spring — as a starter fertilizer when sowing, in the fall — as the main fertilizer for processing or when sowing winter crops, and in the appropriate phases of development for top dressing.
