Myronov Wheat Institute named after V.M. Handicrafts of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Kyiv region.
Entered into the Register of Plant Varieties of Ukraine since 2006, recommended for cultivation in the Steppes, Forest Steppes and Polesie. Variety "lutescens".
BOGHDANA is a high-yielding variety created by individual selection of plants obtained as a result of exposure to an aqueous solution of the mutagen NES 0.001% on
seeds Donetskaya 48 variety.
General characteristics.
semi-erect bush, plant height 98-104 cm, straw is poorly made
the ear is long, spineless, of medium density, pyramidal in shape, white or straw-yellow in color, with a moderate wax coating.
red grain, medium in length and width, large
weight of 1,000 seeds – 44.6-48.8 g.
Agronomic characteristics.
A variety of intensive type, direction of use - grain.
Crude gluten content 26.6-31.7%, protein 12.9-14.7%.
Middle-aged The vegetation period is 287-300 days.

According to the originator, the average harvest in the state variety test in 20 regions of Ukraine covering all cultivation zones was:
in Stepa areas - 68.7 t/ha
in Lesostepa regions - 73.4 t/ha.
in Polesia districts - 60.6 t/ha
with increases over the average standard by 10.8-15.4 t/ha
