AISI 309 - 20X20N14C2 (EI211). 20X20N14C2 is one of the brands of heat-resistant high-alloy steel. The composition of the alloy includes up to 22% chromium and up to 15% nickel, which allows us to call this type of metal a chrome-nickel alloy. Also, 2-3% of silicon, no more than 1.5% of manganese, 0.3% of copper, no more than 0.2% of titanium, no more than 0.035% of phosphorus and 0.025% of sulfur are used as additives to the charge. The forging temperature of steel 20X20N14С2 is 1170 °C at the beginning of the process and 850 °C at the end. 20Х20Н14С2 blanks with a section of up to 350 millimeters are cooled in the air. 20Х20Н14С2 is used for the manufacture of various parts of thermal furnaces, since the grade steel itself is ideally suited for the production of furnace conveyors, the manufacture of boxes for cementation.
AISI 314 - 20X25N20S2 (EI283). Steel 20X25N20S2 is used in furnace construction for the production of sheet parts of furnace rollers, suspensions and supports in boilers, furnace screens for operation at temperatures up to 1100 °C. Steel is smelted in open electric furnaces. The temperature of the beginning of forging is 1170 °C, the end of it is 850 °C. The recommended mode of heat treatment: quenching at 1100-1200 °C in air or in water.
