Paclobutrazol is a systemic retardant that also has fungicidal properties. As a retardant, it is active on a number of fruit, tree, decorative and
cereal crops. The drug inhibits vegetative growth and increases the formation of fruit buds in some fruit crops, inhibits growth and reduces the yield of grain crops. In addition, in small doses, it exhibits a fungicidal effect against pathogens of powdery mildew and scab. Paclobutrazol freely moves through the phloem and xylem and is therefore active both when spraying plants and when applied to the soil.

The drug shortens the shoots, reduces or eliminates the need for pruning, increases the formation of fruit buds, improves the quality of fruits; reduces the laying of grains. In some cases, it increases the frost resistance of plants. It works both when spraying foliage (consumption rates of 0.125 - 2 kg/ha) and when applied to the soil (2 - 4 kg/ha). At low consumption rates (0.125 — 0.2 kg/ha) it is also effective against powdery mildew and scab. Stable for 2 years under normal storage conditions.
This product is able to delay the growth of plants, slow down the elongation of the stem, reduce the internode and contribute to the tillering of plants and the differentiation of flower buds. It increases the resistance of plants and increases productivity.
