A new sunflower hybrid of the selection of LLC "AF NPP AGROMIR", submitted for state testing in 2024.

Created on the basis of the Berkan hybrid. But, at the same time, it has a number of essential differences from it.

Suitable for Clearfield and Clearfield+ technologies.

The AM KLP 25 hybrid is similar to the AM TAIPAN KLP hybrid, as these hybrids have a common maternal form.
But it has several main features:
The vegetation period of AM KLP 25 is 112-115 days, and the vegetation period of AM TAIPAN KLP is 110-112 days.
The paternal form of AM KLP 25 is high-oleic, therefore the content of oleic acid in the seeds of commercial crops will be higher than in ordinary hybrids of the linoleic type.
Hybrid KLP 25 has increased resistance to post-emergence herbicides of the imidazoline group (Euro-Lightning, Euro-Lightning plus, Kaptora, Kaptora plus, Pulsar, Eurolang, Euroland, Vitalait, etc.). Thus, in the process of selective selection, the dose of a single application of the herbicide Eurolightning reached 1.7 l/ha.
Let's not forget that one treatment with theseherbicides during the entire vegetation period allows to destroy the majority of malicious cereal and dicotyledonous weeds (ambrosia, gorse, thistle, wheatgrass, and others). These herbicides also destroy the infection even before the emergence of its shoots, when treated with the herbicide in the phase of sunflower development from four to six pairs of true leaves.

-Oil direction основый. The hybrid is high-fat - the oil content of the seeds is 52-53%. In addition, seeds from the 2024 harvest will have an increased content of oleic acid (instead of the usual 20% to 60-70%) due to the use of a high-oleic paternal form on the hybridization site.
It has a powerful root system. Therefore, it is more suitable for growing on poor soils, sunflower according tosunflower, disk (without plowing) than other hybrids.
The height of the plants is 170-180 cm.
Stem of medium thickness.
The leaf plate is medium, moderately green in color.
The beginning of flowering is early.
The basket is medium, thin. Due to this, it loses moisture very quickly (it dries) before cleaning.
Seed of medium size, narrow-ovoid in shape.
It has high complex resistance to most common diseases, has genetically determined soil resistance to the most virulent 730th race of powdery mildew, white rot and Phomopsis.

Agrotechnical requirements:
Unlike the Berkan hybrid, the KLP 25 hybrid is better adapted to thickening, the optimal density during harvesting in Forest Steppes is 55 thousand/plant/ha, and in Steppes - 50 thousand/plant/ha.
