"Veles-Agro" LLC has developed a new series of mechanical seed drills SZM, intended for row sowing of cereals, grasses, vegetables, mixtures, legumes, technical and other crops using minimal tillage technology, with a coulter pressure force of 80 to 120 kg and a seed rolling system.

The time-tested coil system for sowing seeds in the SZM series planter has been improved with the use of the latest technologies for surface treatment of parts and the use of high-strength and wear-resistant components in their manufacture. Thanks to the combination of the screw method of adjusting the coils to the set sowing rate and switching the speed of rotation of the gearbox, the seeder can be set both for the micro-sowing rate from 6 kg/ha and the macro-sowing rate up to 400 kg/ha, and when equipped with a small seed hopper from 1 kg/ha to 40 kg/ha.

According to the results of the work of the planters in 2010‒2014 the company made changes regarding the adaptation of seed drills in Ukrainian fields, namely:

spacing of coulters for improved passage of soil and crop residues between them;
extended shock absorber rod of the coulter;
left and right threads of the screws for fastening the coulter disk;
widened necks of grain and fertilizer bunkers;
the mechanism of synchronous operation of the hydraulic cylinders of the seed drill lift;
adjustment washers of the rod stroke of the working hydraulic cylinder.
When using resource-saving technologies, most grain crops are sown after minimal tillage with disk harrows. In order to obtain friendly and powerful seedlings, it is necessary to choose a universal planter, which, with the least labor costs for adjusting the norms and depths of sowing, would be able to provide first-class sowing of a wide range of agricultural crops.
