The double-row potato planter for minitractors is a continuation of our line of planters KS15 can be aggregated with minitractors equipped with a 3-point hitch.

Design features

Attachment to minitractors is carried out using a 3-point hitch. Universal two-sided fingers (Ø22 mm and Ø27 mm) are installed at the base of the hitch. There are two holes Ø22.5 mm and Ø 27 mm each in the upper attachment point. These parameters are suitable for connection to T-25 and T-40 type tractors.

The dosing device is designed on a chain drive, in which the potato baskets are attached to the chain. The chain has 104 links, 13 baskets with a diameter of 50 mm are installed. The distance between the baskets is 8 links.

The hopper is made of sheet steel with a thickness of 1 mm. The frame at the base of the KS15 potato planter is made of a 40 × 40 × 4 mm corner. The collar for attaching the lanyard to the hopper is 5 mm thick, and the corresponding fastening plate is 8 mm thick. The lower base of the towing device is made of a steel strip 6 × 40 mm.

Wheels-ground grippers have a diameter of 318 mm, the rim thickness is 4 mm, and the width is 150 mm. The drive shaft has a diameter of 30 mm. The shafts of the potato planter are connected by a special sleeve. Each hopper has an individual gear drive.

The coulter is made of sheet steel with a thickness of 2 mm.

Potato planter for a minitractor KS15 is equipped with a fertilizer hopper, the volume of which is 6 l.

The rate of application of mineral fertilizers is fixed (2.8 ml), the application step is adjustable (corresponding to the potato planting step of 200, 250 mm).

It is possible to adjust the step of landing in a row, available options for installation are 200 mm and 250 mm. The width between rows is fixed - 600 mm.

An additional option is also possible - installation of a seat for the operator. The potato planter has brackets for mounting supporting profiles, on which this seat can be installed with the help of clamps.

Principle of operation

Revolutions from the wheels of the potato planter are transmitted to the shaft, on which the sprockets are installed, with the help of which the step of planting in a row is adjusted. The drive sprockets are connected to the sprocket of the upper shaft by a chain transmission, there is also a chain stabilizer. Inside the mine there is also a pair of stars - upper and lower, which are connected by a chain on which baskets for potatoes are installed.

With the help of a wedge-shaped opener, the potato planter cuts the bed. Stacked potatoes are covered with disk mounders.

The optimal working speed of the minitractor is 5 km/h.
