Application of lime paste

Slaked lime is a widely used building material. It is actively used both in construction:

Preparation of Bordeaux mixture

To prepare the Bordeaux mixture, 1 part (by weight) of lime dough and one part (by weight) of copper sulfate are used. The mixture is diluted with water to a working consistency. The resulting mixture should be blue in color without mechanical impurities. The reaction should be neutral. Test with a litmus paper or put a few drops on a clean sheet of black metal. There should be no rust.

The method of preparing a solution for whitewashing:

Mix the contents of the package with water in a ratio that depends on the type of work, add dye if necessary, stir, then whitewash.

If whitewashing is done with a spray gun, the mixture must be filtered through cheesecloth or kapron. During the work, it is desirable to mix the solution periodically. To avoid a chemical burn, make sure that the paste and solution do not get into the eyes or on exposed parts of the body. In case of contact, wash immediately with water. In case of burns, consult a doctor immediately.

Work in rubber gloves and glasses. When using for other purposes, use the appropriate instructions. Frozen pasta does not lose its quality. Thaw at room temperature.
