The oil press is intended for cold or hot pressing of oil-containing cultures and their cakes according to the schemes of one, two or three times pressing. The temperature of the raw material entering the oil press should be at least 50 °C, the humidity of the seeds should not exceed 6-7%.(//tractor-service.com)

In the screw press, the material to be pressed (cake after moisture and heat treatment, cake) continuously enters through the feeding device into the receiving part of the drilling drum, in which the material is captured by the first turn of the screw shaft and moves along the drilling drum. In the course of this movement, the material is continuously compacted and pressed, while the squeezedoil flows out through the oil drum, and the squeezed material in the form ofcake comes out through the outlet ring slot at the end of the drum.
Under the influence of the resulting pressure, the oil is squeezed out of the raw material, passes through the slits of the oil cylinder and collects in the appropriate pallet.
