We went to a club yesterday with a wonderful girl from Holland, she just arrived in Moscow. At the entrance, as usual, there is a metal detector, a security guard - we pass, show bags for inspection. The girl is shocked, they don't have such a thing! To the question "Why, sobsno?", he answers in a serious tone.
"Because Chechnya is nearby"!
The shock has tripled - these are not bears on the streets for you ;)
