Winter in northern Germany is unthinkable without cabbage.
Thiscabbage, which is perceived as typically German, is actually an immigrant from the Mediterranean. Due to its frost resistance - under a layer of snow it easily withstands minus 15°С, kale was an important source of food for people and animals until the 19th century. This kale has been known in Bremen since 1545.(//tractor-service.com)
This is a hardy variety with dark "rolled moss" leaves, which, thanks to its low growth, 30-40 cm, can "hide well" under the snow.
Ego can be grown in containers. Thinly curled dark blue-green leaves can be collected in one cut of the entire plant or gradually removed leaf by leaf from the plant one by one.
Compact plants give leaves that are very uniform, do not turn yellow and have a pleasant aroma.
Short internodes provide high yields despite the small growth
