Active substance:
imazapyr, 15 g/l. + imazamox, 33g/l.
Formulation:
emulsion concentrate.
Manufacturer:
Agrosphere.
Appointment:
herbicide of systemic and soil action for the destruction of dicotyledonous and cereal weeds in crops of
sunflower hybrids, resistant to the active substances of the group of imidazolinones.
Tara:
canister 10 l.
Crops on which it is used:
sunflower.
Mechanism of action :
active substances imazapyr and imazamox are quickly absorbed through the leaves and penetrate through the root system of the plant. Imazapyr and imazamox penetrate through the xylem and phloem, acting as an inhibitor of the enzyme acetohydroxyacid synthase (AHAS) or acetolactate synthase (ALS). AHAS is a catalyst of amino acids: valine, leucine and isoleucine. The specified amino acids are essential for proteins necessary for the growth of plant cells. Inhibition of AHAS by active substances of the group of imidazolinones contributes to a decrease in the synthesis of these amino acids, which in turn leads to the death of weeds.
Properties and advantages:
destruction of both cereal and dicotyledonous weeds;
one treatment per season;
sunflower crown control;
good ground action on the following waves of weed seedlings;
high efficiency when used in minimal and zero systems
soil treatment.
