Single chain potato planter with a hopper for applying mineral fertilizers is intended for the mechanization of planting potatoes and simultaneous application of fertilizers. It is aggregated with motoblocks and mototractors with a capacity of at least 6 liters. p.

The principle of operation of a potato planter with a fertilizer hopper:

The drives of the planting and fertilizer dosing mechanism are activated from the support wheels through the drive shaft. The rotating moment from the drive shaft is transmitted to the landing mechanism and dosing device through a chain transmission equipped with a roller tensioner. The tensioner is necessary to prevent sagging of the chain after adjusting the planting pitch and frequency of fertilizer application. Adjustment is made by moving the chain to additional sprockets.

ground-track wheels have a diameter of 340 mm, rim thickness - 3 mm, width - 110 mm;
the diameter of the drive shaft is 25 mm.
Planting mechanism and dosing device:
The main node of the potato planter is a bunker with a shaft in which the planting mechanism is located. In the mine there are support stars with a chain and baskets. The landing mechanism uses a drive chain PR-12.7 — 18.2 (ant, number of links 98), 12 baskets with a diameter of 50 mm are installed on it.

The hopper for potatoes with a capacity of 20 liters is made of sheet steel with a thickness of 149

The keel-shaped opener of the potato planter is made of sheet steel with a thickness of 2 mm. The keel of the opener is reinforced, thickness - 3 mm.

To wrap the planted potatoes and create a soil ridge on a frame made of a steel corner 32x32x3 mm, adjustable disc hillers with a diameter of 275 mm and a thickness of 2 mm are installed. Smooth and reliable rotation of each disk is ensured by a pair of 202 bearings.

Towing unit:
Depending on the model of the traction unit, the potato planter can be equipped with various towing units. The towing unit is attached to a special bracket with the help of bolted connections. To ensure stable operation of the potato planter on uneven soil, the bracket is fixed on a movable sleeve.
