Problem with uploading a photo
  1. The site supports two methods of uploading photos:
    • HTML5 (used by default)

      For the full, most convenient operation of the photo upload system, a browser with HTML5 support is required (any modern browser supports this technology)... If your browser supports HTML5, you will see a green photo selection button.
      This upload method allows you to process files directly from the camera, without any obvious size restrictions.
    • HTML, sending together with the form

      For hopelessly outdated browsers, computers with the maximum level of security and specific settings, if Adblock or Antibanner is installed, as well as in case of unforeseen errors, the simplest method of uploading photos is used - sending together with the form.
      In this case, you will see 5 standard fields for selecting files.
      This upload method allows you to process files smaller than 1 MB, up to 1024x1024 pixels in size (we recommend reducing the entire photo beforehand).
      It is important to understand that in this case the files will be sent together with the form, as a result of which the waiting time during sending increases significantly and may exceed 15 seconds. If after 30 seconds waiting, the site gave an incomprehensible error - most likely, the size of one or several photos significantly exceeds 1MB.
  2. The photo selection button is not pressed.

    Tip: in order not to lose previously entered data, publish an ad without a photo, then open it for editing.
    A possible solution: press Ctrl+F5 to reload the page and all site scripts again.

Any registered user can place up to 1000 ads.
How to edit an ad?
There are two options for editing ads, which depend on how they are added.

Variant I: the ad was added by a registered (authorized) user.
In this case, go toPersonal cabinet ->Announcements (to enter the personal the cabinet requires authorization).
This section presents ads added by you as a registered user.
For editing, follow the link "Edit" that is located near each advertisement.

II option: the advertisement was added by an unregistered user.
In this case, find your ad, click on its title, and thus go to the page where only it will be displayed. At the very bottom of the page, after the contact information, you will see the link/block Управление объявлением, and in it the link "Edit ad" - click on it and enter the password you specified when adding the ad. If the password is correct, you will be taken to the page for editing the advertisement.

How to delete an advertisement?
There are two options for independent removal of ads, which depend on the method of adding them.

Variant I: the ad was added by a registered (authorized) user.
In this case, go toPersonal cabinet ->Announcements (to enter the personal the cabinet requires authorization).
This section presents ads added by you as a registered user.
To edit, follow the "Delete" link that is located near each ad.

II variant: the advertisement was added by a non-registered user.
In this case, find your ad, click on its title, and thus go to the page where only it will be displayed. At the very bottom of the page, after the contact information, you will see the link/block Управление объявлением, and in it the link "Delete the ad" - click on it and enter the password you specified when adding the ad. If the password is correct, the ad will be deleted immediately.

How to update the ad?
The "announced update" function is available to registered users from their personal account.
There are 2 update options:
  • each ad separately: the function is available if it has been since the last update of the adnot less than 3 days;
  • package update of all ads: those ads that have passed since the last updatenot less than 7 days;

Update of ads to whichrestrictions applied impossible. You should first edit the ads to remove the reason for the restrictions.

Unregistered users can update ads manually. To do this, the advertisement must be opened for editing and saved (it is not necessary to make changes). Ads will be updated in this way no more than once every 3 days.

Restrictions are applied in case of detection of ads with the sameor very similar:

Ads to which restrictions are applied:

  • can't be raised to the first positions/pages of the rubric;
  • don't participate in keyword searches;
  • often ineffective;

Чтобы remove restrictions you should edit the ad (under restrictions) and make it unique according to all the above parameters: title, text, photos. Restrictions are removed automatically, immediately after making changes.

Restrictions are applied and removed only automatically! Restrictions cannot be removed manually by a moderator.

What is an ad ID? How to find out the ad ID?
The ad ID is a unique number that is assigned to the ad at the time of its addition and remains unchanged under any conditions.
You can find out the ad ID on the ad page, block "Additional information" (above the block "Author, contacts")

Advantages of a special ad (special placement)
  • Specialized advertising most of the timelocated on the first page (on the first pages ) rubrics.

    This is achieved by automatically updating the ad every 15-20 minutes or more often. At the time of update, the advertisement rises to the first positions in the rubric. If in one rubric, several announced ones are selected - at the time of updating, they change places randomly;

  • It is possible to manually update an ad without restrictions on the time of the last update, but within 50 updated per day... after use - the minimum update interval is 15 minutes.

    Restrictions introduced on 10/17/2018, reason: automation updated by some users, up to updating every 5 seconds;

  • In the rubric, the advertisement is additionally highlighted by color and additional photos are also displayed (see screenshot, click to enlarge);
  • There is no advertisement and a block with similar ads on the ad page;
  • For an additional fee, the announcement of the ad is published on the main page (if available);
  • This is significant, in several times, increases the visibility of the ad and its effectiveness.
Sequence of actions for highlighting / special placement of the ad
  1. Autorizate on site (log in);
  2. Post an advertisement (ad is placed for free);
  3. Check the cost of allocation / special placement (discounts are possible depending on the category of the ad)
    • To check the cost of special placement, you need to click on the "highlight + raise" link, the link is next to each ad (see screenshot, click to enlarge);
    • Different selection periods are available, as well as a special placement option with an announcement on the main page (not for all sections).
  4. Top up the balance by the required amount;
  5. Select the ad
    • To do this, you need to click on "highlight + raise", select the placement option and period of placement, click the "Highlight the ad" button;
    • The ad will be highlighted instantly.
  6. Done.
    You can extend the term of special accommodation at any time, including until the end of the previously paid period, in this case the new period will be correctly added to the already existing one.
What are the advantages of registered users over unregistered ones?

Several ads were added earlier, but now they can't be found. Where are the ads?
A complex system of automatic monitoring has been created to deal with explicit and implicit duplicates of the declared one. The main task of the monitoring system is to find and delete all duplicates of the declared one, leaving only one, the most recent, copy. In exceptional cases, when the set is violated, all ads are deleted.
In other words, it makes no sense to add the same, or very similar, ads to different categories or different regions, as all duplicates will be deleted very quickly.

It is also worth notingnegative influence of adding duplicates announced at certain time intervals.

Brief information about the negative impact of duplicates is announced.

A significant number of targeted visitors comes from search engines that index (read) the site's pages and then conduct a search on them (it is worth noting that the indexing process can take more than one day). According to the monitoring system described above, after adding a duplicate, the old advertisement will be deleted (it will be impossible to find the advertisement at the old address, respectively). As a result, it turns out that search systems direct visitors to non-existent (removed by the monitoring system) ads, and thus potential clients leave with nothing.

In order tothat the ad was at the beginning of the list it is possible update (but not more often than once in 3 day).
The update function is available in the personal account for registered users.
Unregistered users can simply open the ad for editing and save it (even without changing the data).

Search system on the site. Why can't I find my advertisement by keywords?
Some time must pass from the moment the ad is placed on the site so that it can be found by keywords.
The reason for this is the necessity of checking and indexing new ads by the search system of the board.
The indexing of the ads and the updating of the search base occurs once in a while.

Archive ads are automatically excluded when searching for keywords, unless otherwise specified in the settings.

It is possible to check the fact of indexation simply by specifying the ad ID instead of the keyword in the search form.

We count only real visitors (not robots/not bots). This is an IMPORTANT difference from many other advertised boards, where the sum of the digits on the counters is several times higher than the overall site visit statistics.

Unique views - the number of unique users who were shown in the general search specific announcement within a day. This does NOT include ad page views. Each user is counted only once, regardless of how many times the ad was shown to him during the day.
Only search ad impressions count:
  • by headings;
  • by keywords;
Unique views of the ad page - the number of unique users who visited the page of a particular ad during the day. Each user is counted only once, regardless of how many times he visited a particular ad page during the day.
Unique phone requests - the number of unique users who wanted to know the phone number of the user who posted a specific ad. Each request from a specific user during the day is counted only once, regardless of how many times he makes a phone request.
Pay special attention to ads where:
  • Showed a lot, but viewed few;
  • Viewed a lot, but requested the phone few;
Such statistics may indirectly indicate the low quality of the ad.

Also, at any time, you can restore the hidden ad. At the same time, the address of the page with the advertisement will remain the same.

Using the advertisement as a template
On Agro-Ukraine, it is enough to create a good ad once in order to use it as a template for all subsequent ones.

Setting up the update reminder system announced

Agro-Ukraine works with the update reminder system announced if they not updated for more than N days, N=7-30.

Also available is a system that sends a warning if one or more ads expire.

If the user does not respond to 5 letters in a row, for example, due to the letters falling into SPAM,the reminder system is automatically turned off.

If the system is disabled, regardless of the reason, it can be turned on from the personal account (see above).

Require prepayment? Check product availability and be vigilant!

Attention! This is a general warning about scammers, it is displayed under each ad andnot directly related to a specific seller and/or company!

Common sense and simple security measures
  • Check the availability of the goods
  • Compare the person's full name and full name of the card holder
  • No rush! Passenger transport, which needs to be loaded quickly, often travels for years.

Simple but effective product availability check

  • Ask the seller to contact you via video link via Viber, Telegram, Skype or another convenient for both sides of the messenger and show the product.

    This can be done even if you don't have a camera, but it requires the seller to have a camera

  • Offer the seller to take a photo of the product along with a piece of paper on which any word that YOU and only YOU will specify in advance (for example: today's date + seller NAME_SELLER).

    This simple check greatly complicates the use of other people's photos from the Internet and in some way guarantees the availability of the goods at the seller...

    If the goods are available, it is very easy to take a photo, so an honest seller will not refuse!

The seller does not have Viber, Telegram, Skype or a second messenger, he cannot take and send a photo of the product for any reason (the camera is broken, he does not know how to take a photo and send a photo)? Does he have the right to demand prepayment in this case? Definitely - NO!

You agreed with the seller thatyou will come for the goods yourself, but the seller requires prepayment as a guarantee of your words (for example, speech is it a perishable product)?
In this case, if the buyer breaks his word, the advance payment will not help the seller - the goods will be damaged and the losses will be clearly higher than the amount of the advance payment (the advance payment is meaningless).
If we are talking about a large batch of goods, asking for prepayment seems strange and illogical, because sale/purchase is a mutually beneficial transaction (prepayment is meaningless).
In the case of self-delivery, you also need to be careful, because there are cases when the driver is robbed or he drives the car for hundreds of kilometers in vain, trusting only the promises of a favorable price.

IfYou are sure that the product is available and decided to make a prepayment - ask the seller to write you a letter by e-mail (do not write down the data over the phone), where he will clearly and without errors indicate :

  • name and add. characteristics of the goods for which he is requesting prepayment,
  • his full name,
  • card number,
  • prepayment amount,
  • full value of the goods,| ||669

Actually, you are simply replenishing the account of the second person, whether he will fulfill his obligations - it is up to him to decide.

Fraud with a super-profitable / understated price, pickup and payment on the spot

The ad indicates a below-market price for a high-quality product, with self-delivery and payment upon loading/receipt of the product.

It would seem that there is no catch, but if you delve into the details...

The buyer is told the banal reason for the low price: the seller's debt to another company, the seller's personal debt to another person, the company's employee's personal discounts, etc.

Aim: to prepare the buyer for that , that payment upon loading must be made not at the cash desk of the company that shipped the goods, but to a third party. At the same time, the buyer is assured in every possible way that what he says about the price at the time of loading is not worth it, so that he does not have to pay the market price.

Loading begins and the buyer, expecting a good profit, agrees to transfer money to a third party.

Upon the fact of loading, the seller company demands payment from the buyer, and at this moment the details of the fraud begin to become clear.

The result of the fraudulent scheme: the money goes to the third party (fraudsters), the buyer is left without money, without goods and with frayed nerves.
Be vigilant, do not lose common sense when you see a super low price. Transfers the payment to a third party, did not inform the seller of the goods, at least it is unreasonable.
